Terrarium Bauble Tips from Living Mi-Wey

Photo by Linda Davidson/The Washington Post

Michele Weymouth of Living Mi-Wey in Virginia shares a step-by-step guide for creating a succulent terrarium with the Washington Post. I love her signature terrarium bauble: something gold nestled among her terrarium plants.  Other great terrarium decoration ideas include small mirrors, figurines, glass marbles, or beach glass.

  1. Most charming sunset HD scenery you love most

NO MATTER how often we see a beautiful sunset, we always appreciate the glorious scenery. Clouds scattered across the horizon add to the beautiful scenery as the sun sets with purple, red, orange, pink, and yellow.

On a clear day when the sun is above the horizon, the sky is blue because shorter blue waves are scattered in the air and reflected to the earth from all parts of the sky. But when the sun sets on the night sky, its light travels many miles beyond the earth's atmosphere to reach us. So it hits more air and dust molecules than when the sun is up. Shorter blue rays are blocked and absorbed by the atmosphere before they reach our sight.

Longer red rays penetrate the atmosphere to reach us, causing the colors we see at sunset and sunrise.
