ROMERO TRAIL: Take 101 South past Montecito to the Sheffield Drive off ramp which is a LEFT exit that goes under the northbound lanes of the freeway. After going under the freeway go right a short way and turn left onto Sheffield. Take Sheffield toward the mountains to East Valley Road (192). Jog left on East Valley Road then immediately right on Romero Canyon Road. Take Romero Canyon Road to the end and Turn Right on Bella Vista. The Trail goes up where The creek crosses over Bella Vista Road.
